Introduction Of Benazir Kafalat Program: The Benazir Kafalat Program is also an important initiative of BISP. The aim of Benazir Kafalat Program program is to help the economically weak and poor women to eradicate poverty from the society. The program provides quarterly stipends to women from low-income households. Which is an important step towards meeting their needs and making them financially strong. The program started in 2021 and was renamed Benazir Ehsaas Kafalat Program in 2022. Nine million people have been registered in the program so far and another seven lakh people have been asked to register. Financially weaker women, widows and transgenders can benefit from this program.
How To Apply For Program?
You can apply to the Benazir Kafalat program in the following ways:
- First visit the official website of BISP.
- Go to Ehsaas Kafalat section
- Find the Ehsaas Kafalat section on the BISP website and click on it
- Enter your National Identity Card number
- Enter your mobile phone number through which you will receive a verification code
- You will be sent a verification code via SMS. Enter this code on the website to verify your identity
- Enter all the information asked in the form such as your name address and valid income.
- Check all the information entered in the form carefully and then submit Benazir Online registration form.
Eligibility Criteria
Benazir Kafalat program is designed for financially weak and low income people.The program is specifically aimed at including those who need it the most. The most vulnerable households and especially women will benefit through this program.This program gives preference to widowed divorcees and especially women whose husbands are unable to work due to any disability. A female applicant must be above 18 years of age to be eligible for the program.Eligibility is verified by NSER. NSER continuously updates the database to ensure that maximum benefit of the program is provided to the deserving households.

Required Documents
The following documents required to register in this program.
- Valid CNIC issued by NADRA is necessary.
- The Head of Household participating in the program must have an updated CNIC.
- After registration, CNIC will also used during biometric verification and receive payment.
- Proof of address Apart from this, utility bills and gas bills are also required if the house has gas.
- Family Registration Certificate
- Proof of income
- If a woman is a widow, she must have a certificate.
- If the applicant or any member of the household has any disability, a certificate from any government agency may be required.
Who is Not Eligible For Benazir Kafalat Program?
The following people are not eligible for this program:
- If either of the husband or wife is a government employee.
- Who are filers and give text.
- Those who have their own lands and properties.
- Families with higher household incomes.
- Those who own more than one vehicle.
- People with a history of overseas travel.

You can check your eligibility in the Benazir Kafalat program in the following ways:

- Go to Benazir Income Support Program website.
- Enter your National Identity Card number there.
- Enter the court given in the image.
- And click on the submit button.
- You will then asked to visit the nearest Benazir Income Support office or the nearest utility store to register for the survey.
SMS Check by CNIC
- Go to the message option on your mobile.
- Enter your ID card number there without the dash.

- After a few minutes you will receive a response regarding your eligibility.
Benefits
The Benazir Kafalat Program provides a quarterly stipend of Rs 10,500 PKR to eligible families. This stipend is available to those who have been bio-metrically verified. Apart from health care, education and vocational training, access to various services is provided. So that all the poor families who have no other source of income can fully benefit from this program.
